Stand with Courage and Sisterhood with Sandrine Dixson-Declève
Buddha Tara swift healer rescuer, super heroin in Tibetan Buddhism

By Emmanuelle Chiche - Tara Kinship

It brought me joy when I realized that Sandrine was to be a speaker of this year Summit that is free to join here.

StoryMoss, our young magazine of Peoples Places and Permaculture was a StoryWeaving and StoryHealing partner with the Pocket Project at the Climate Consciousness Summit in 2025 (see our stories here). Now we are weaving with the World Women Summit this week and next. StoryMoss is growing to become an amplifier of women's stories and stories of more-than-human species, with the trees, the plants, the rivers and the birds guiding us onto our individual and collective healing journey towards inner peace, outer peace and world peace. This work expresses my Tara Kinship personal project of harmony co-created with universal cherishing love for all living beings.

I discovered Sandrine's work only a few months ago through her personal family documentary project Stand with Courage, an invitation to follow her grandfather's turbulent generous life as a resistance fighter in Belgium during WW2. I am always very curious and more interested to read about courage than heroism. From my research, the incredibly powerful, beautiful emotion of courage (coeur-age) gave me a deep interest of getting to know Sandrine's resonance. I felt as a twin sister of the revolutionary year of the Fire Hose that Sandrine likes to bring in to underline the crucial moment in time for the revolutionary shift happening at the grassroots and between men and women and between human non human species. 2026 now. With her current Climate Justice work and the sustained push for aware and healed self leaderhip for women and men, with a clear feeling of our ancestral lineage with her personal family reach and discoveries, humanity can get closer to a systems transformation that could lead to world peace once inner and outer peace are reached and maintained in us all.

I admire Sandrine's deep comitment through her tenure as the Director of the Club of Rome, her climate and social justice career and her personal life, as she doesn't make any distinction in how she shows up and shares her views and her hopes for a better healthier world for all. Closing on the dark story of separations all around us, of us and the Other, of us and Nature, she askes this potent question to us: "How can we hack humanity back from global hatred?" This is our modern quest, this is the call that Nature (we are nature too) has for us. We must accept the mission and join creative innovative healing forces to get closer to a more just world we hope for. The ultimate belief and following Joanna Macy's deep ecology and active hope framework, Sandrine and for many of us who choose to devote our life to the ultimate belief always being hope for humanity positive change.

Sandrine evoked the balancing of masculine and feminine "wings" and the beautiful supportive collaborative even magic at times of "Sisterhood", women caring, amplifying, lifting each other no matter the hardships or the stakes at play. Collaboration instead of competition, physical hugs and smiles, sustained women's friendships, healing networks, and healing communities that Thomas Hübl and the Pocket Project encourage us to co-create, join and grow together for collective healing and universal healing to become a joyful reality. World Peace rising.

With the Stand with Courage documentary-series she explored and invited us to explore our own ancestral lineage, the stories and realities of our close ancestors. For her as an European little girl raised in California, she felt torn in-between the image of the Savior US where she was growing up and the traumatized post WWI and WW2 Europe where she spent her summers. She felt called, as I have felt called in the context of my European family in France post WWW2, to unveil the intergenerational trauma in her own family. Her grandfathers as resistance fighters, grandmothers holding the family, farm, food and emotional supply, the local economy and themselves during the anxious absence of their husbands, brothers, sons and fathers. Her grandmothers, our grandmothers, had to spend big parts of their lives bringing their husbands back from the neuroses of war and to help them reconnect with their humanity after war trauma. (Check Matthew Green's session Day 1.)

Sandrine loves using letters, like mantras, to help shift her mindset and engage many others. The 3 PS: Power, Profit and Patriarchy, "the 3Ps in steroids" or "Penis Power" that have ruled humanity that are still ruling our word. She talks about morality gap, a growing lack of deep values in our Western world, with no frame, no rites of passage or ceremonies that can help youth shift and see the positive spiritual contributions of other cultures. We at StoryMoss are particularly passionate with indigenous and animist wisdom and storytelling as a way to open and keep our heart, our mind and our will open (Otto's Scharmer Theory U sensing frame.) Sandrine continues with the "Ms", the growing Monarchies (populist, feudalistic governements) anchored in Money, in Materials, in brown Molecules rather than green. The Mind Manipulation that is increasing with the disformation, fake news, propaganda spreading like viruses through our addictive social media channels, angering us, discouraging us to rallye and transform adversity so that technocrats and populist heads-of-state can freely orchestrates their greed and gains at the expense of humanity, us.

Sandrine and Kosha's deeply moving opening conversation in the Women Rising for Peace Summit and the role of women in the collective and universal healing of our world is a very touching hour that brings about all the positive human sides of society, the need for diversity, the beauty of feminine and masculine energies combined together like the yin and the yang. We need each other to heal and thrive. We need love and deep listening of all and the Other, we need heart connection with our own heart and with our collective heart. Harmony, Kinship, joy, lasting happiness, justice for all, saving our planet can only emanate from the heart. That's why I love the word Courage (coeur-age), an emotion unfiltered coming straight from our heart that propulses humans to stand, protect and defend all. From a fuller more aware, increased inner power, self-empowerment, en-COURAGE-ment on the healing journey heart comes INTUITION and inner JOY, life energy is renewed. Hope is renewed and shared. We are healing and all we wish for is to help others heal because together is faster, better, stronger and more joyful, so through self leadership re-ignited we can engage others to join us in the collective healing movement. The next Buddha is our global Sangha (us all). Thich Nhat Hanh's beautiful energy of INTERBEING. I personally believe in healing with joy, from my Buddhist practice but before that from my own heart revolution, as Sandrine ends with a very deep transformational call for LOVE and ACTION.

Happy Fire Horse year. Active Hope (Joanna Macy).

As Thomas Hübl has said, peace is not merely the absence of conflict. It is the active journey of meeting our wounds with courage and love. It is the willingness to dance with our pain, to grow through it and be transformed.

"Peace is the path of confronting the pain and separation that lives within us and between us," said Pocket Project CEO Kosha Joubert.

In this year's Summit, the complex facets of building and sustaining peace continue to be explored in diverse conversations that you can catch up with the Summit upgrade for 55 Euros here. Enjoy and share the message of love and peace.
